Derevin & Stacia
Derevin and Stacia are lead pastors of Restoration Church Houston a new church in West Houston. They have been married for 21 years and served together in ministry for 16 years with increasing responsibility.
After living in Missouri for 15 years, they and their 2 children, Kaelyn and Joel, moved to Houston. Derevin is a native of Houston and has always had a heart for his hometown to understand the love of God, which is revealed by having a relationship with Him.
Derevin and Stacia heard the call to plant a life-giving church in the Houston area. They are very excited for what God has in store for this next season of life.
Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity.
The RESURRECTION
Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross.
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel.
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Trinity
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.
The Church
The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission.
